Denmark is the host of Europe's largest professional wind event
EWEA12 is the largest wind event in Europe. In April 2012 an expected 10-12.000 members of the wind industry are expected in Copenhagen. As a precursor to EWEA12, the Danish Wind Industry Association is arranging a number of events.
"Wind power is a pivotal element in the necessary transition to a green growth economy.
EWEA 2012 will focus on the inno-vation and green solutions that we need in order to promote green and sustainable growth and reach our target of a low-carbon Europe by 2050.
I am happy that this year's EWEA Annual Event will be held in Copen-hagen, and I look forward to chairing the high level panel debate on Euro-pean Energy Supply towards 2030."
